IMIA · Objetos cotidianos® is an emergent brand of everyday objects that offers personal and interior accessories through the experimentation of processes and materials that take up the bases of decontextualizing the environments in which jewelry and furniture are commonly found.
IMIA started as a personal project with my friend and colleague, Fernanda Pineda, during the first stage of the pandemic in 2020. We are two industrial designers passioned about materials and the upcycling process in design. Little by little we started to learned more about contemporary jewelry and we created pieces that seek to preserve and value our culture and the endemic materials around us. We got involved in the art direction of branding, product design and developed our first fashion film with talented people [Viernes Media] who joined the team.
Our first collection "Primia" was exhibited in INÉDITO [Professional category] powered by Design Week México 2020.
